About us

West Sussex Telecare is a group of councils, plus a housing association, that are working together to deliver a range of telecare services that enable you to live safely and independently inside and outside the home.

We offer a range of telecare solutions, using technology in your home that can immediately notify us if there is a problem. This means we are able to provide you with support, whenever you need us, no matter the situation.

Our 24/7 control centre has been operating for over 30 years, and is the only one found in West Sussex. It is run by Chichester Careline, so you can be sure we offer a service that is trusted, local and suits you.

As your local councils, we are able to signpost you to other agencies if we don't have a solution to suit you. We are also able to refer you directly to other council services that you may benefit from, such as health and wellbeing, home adaption grants and benefits advice.

There is a small price for our services, but as a partnership of your local councils we are in the unique position of being able to provide financial advice, such as how to apply for attendance allowance and pension credits. We also regularly run special offers. At the moment, we are currently offering a 13 week free trial on our lifeline unit, with no obligations.
